Colaba Colada (Desi flavored pina colada)
I first had the Colaba Colada at Dishoom restaurant in London. I instantly fell in love with it and was ecstatic to see it in the Dishoom cookbook by Sharmil Thakrar. Its is described as a virgin pina colada that is dressed up with chai syrup, cilantro and lime. I love it as the tastes of the spice compliment the pineapple and coconut and gives the typical pina colado a new depth of taste!
