Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Pasta with Tomatoes

Bright, beautiful and fresh, and perfect for the summer months. Shrimp and garlic make a winning combination, but with the added lemon and chili - this dish is absolutely delicious. The added bonus is that this dish can be on the table in less than 30 minutes!
What you’ll need
8 ounces pasta of choice ( that is cooked according to directions)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
1 tbs olive oil
1/4 red onion sliced
4 garlic cloves peeled and sliced
1 pound (roughly 20-24) medium-sized shrimp, peeled, deveined, and cleaned with tails off
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp dried Italian spices or 1 tbs fresh herbs (such as basil or oregano)
1 lemon (2 tbs) fresh lemon juice (juice and zest lemons and cut some slices for garnish)
1 container of washed cherry tomatoes (8oz)
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp chill oil
instructions
Wash the shrimp, and pat dry.
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
Melt the butter and the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to melt.
Add in the sliced onions
Stir in the sliced garlic
Cook for 1 minute
Add the shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and oregano. (pic 4)
Cook for about 3-4 minutes total, or until just pink and cooked through.
Add the lemon juice and lemon zest, and stir.
Turn the heat to low, add the pasta and tomato skillet with the shrimp, and toss to combine and coat.
Add in chili oil and cook for 1 minute.
